I resisted, but all the talk about the coming of AGI and its threat to humanity, the thousand-signature open letter calling for a pause (questioned by some https://www.reddit.com/r/singularity/comments/125g8bq/open_letter_calling_for_pause_on_giant_ai/) -- so I signed up to try, on several of these experimental sites and tried to do something useful. The results have been very disappointing. The transformers are not connected to solvers that could help me be more productive. The technical problems I want to solve seem to lie more in the "shape rotator" camp than in the "wordcel" camp. That would not matter if what I was doing was some minor variation of existing code.
