In over a decade, Apple shareholders almost doubled their stakes. (Those who bought and held.)

@asymco When the iPad first came to market in 2010, I was "pressured" into purchasing one (by family) as a gift. Unhappy with the price, my revenge was to purchase shares of AAPL, which I have held ever since. Which was the better deal, the iPad or the shares?

@tedherman Strange question. The two are linked. Sounds like one was caused by the other so they are not independent decisions. If so, then clearly the iPad was the important decision.
