Slowly crawling my way through season 2 of StartUp. Wow, the writers really don't understand the first thing about tech. The central characters' latest software project is already in use by hundreds of people, whose liberty depends on the network protecting their privacy. Now the author is figuring out how to get a cipher for the encryption?

@tetrislife Yup. The only thing keeping me watching is that I'm invested in the characters and I want to see if they ever stop backing themselves into corners and getting screwed by VCs. I suspect they don't, but there's still a season 2, maybe they'll finally learn their lesson?
