It is time for the #EU to deal with #Orban - and I say that as a strong supporter of Hungary and Hungarians in general - he and his party cannot be allowed to undermine us from within anymore and his country deserves better too.

Orban wins his national elections, he earned his place at the EU table and there's no quick way to "deal with" that.
In any case, he's hardly a big player in German or Dutch politics, a factor that can explain the illiberal gain: we simply do the undermining to ourselves and then try to blame an outsider rather than admit our own faults.
