With all the vaccine hesitancy, the best solution to #COVID would probably be to use gain of function research to create a much more transmissible but much less dangerous variant that you'd seed everywhere so it could spread quickly & turn our natural immunity into herd immunity.

I agree but the guys who torture the terrorists to save lives are willing to suffer the legal repercussions. It would probably save lives and reduce suffering.
