@vovanium you are welcome, it's nice that we have that feature -- really wish we had Edit posts like many other platforms.
Friendica for example, has it, plus Text formatting which I sorely miss here. Arghh. And Eugen won't bother, as he's a Twitter user in his experience.
Pleroma offers much nicer features, I prefer it to Mastodon in fact.
@design_RG That's definitely a nice feature. (IMHO Best would be to keep edit history and all that boosts/favs/etc with it, but I don't know if federation protocols can deal with it).
I haven't try other social engines yet, however it seems they worth a try.
I joined qoto mainly because of that nice tex feature.

Definitely got to spend some time and evaluate Friendica better - I have an account at Nerdica.net which is nie german instance, and it runs round faster than Mastodon. Edit posts, formatting, fully federated too.
https://nerdica.net/ or try a temporary instance, to see how it is and move to a permanent address if you like - accounts are deleted after one week, the whole place is a Try it place.

You can use the Delete/Redraft function to remove the OP, and do an edit in it -- it will all be there when you hit the button for a new Toot, just paste in the equation and send.
