I love that is trending on here! My husband is eagerly waiting on the arrival of his first e-bike that he ordered last month. We don't live in the most bike-friendly of places (Oklahoma), but he is going try commuting with it and see how it goes. 🚲 ⚡

@wxheather nice to see a fellow OK person who does wx. 👋🏼

@wxheather He will love it, it is very relaxing; early in the morning as well later the day. I commuted many years to my work, in rainy Netherlands A bike-friendly but flat country… #healthy

@bude The Netherlands has amazing infrastructure for biking! It's hard to find communities in the US that is even half that good and is an affordable place to live. We've been looking. 😭

@wxheather that’s right, never been in Oklahoma but saw biking pictures with marvellous gravel trails. Beautiful landscapes… enjoyable

@wxheather normally it's for spandex riding, but ridewithgps subscription version can help plan a step by step low stress route bc it tends to have pretty good data about trails and the like that are available or let you make intentional waypoints for your route that take you on low stress roads (Google often just suggests most direct routes which in less bike friendly cities can be hazardous. You can then use its navigation to ride with directions first few times until you've memorized!

@wxheather Also GUB (search GUB phone mount on Amazon) makes some extremely sturdy phone mounts that stay put even when you're going fast and bumpy! Highly recommend!

@ryderdavid Thanks for the tips! I will have to share them with him. He's also looking for front/rear cameras he can use while riding.

@wxheather I’m also trying to narrow options down for that so when you decide and if you remember, let me know what you buy!
