@mpjgregoire@mamot.fr +1 to this.

Yeah good point there, once you have a template it should be fine, it is getting to that point that is the hardest thing usually.

I get that, i think it means too much text in an element.
but trying to get an image to be where you put it is a challenge.
After writing thousands of pages in LaTeX and about the same amount in Word/LO Writer, I think it's not about the time you spent enforcing some (often unreasonable) formatting onto your document. It's more about the level of control you feel to have about it. As an expert TeX user, I feel more in control as it does not do some blackbox magic on me like all the Words and Writers. But overall I spend about the same amount of time fiddling with either 😞 .
Maybe this is one of those problems where we don't have a choice _whether_ we'll meet the enemy, nor how big/ugly the enemy will be. We just have a choice _where_ and _when_ will it happen.

@graf Enjoy there.
@graf @FailForward lemme guess a roff fan?
@EdBoatConnoisseur Nah, that is too hardcore even for an old fart like I am.
@FailForward @Noided @mpjgregoire@mamot.fr @piggo
I do find it more interesting on here.
So far discussion on shape of blankets, LaTeX and other stuff e.g Lego.

I actually find it challenging in a positive way. I made a programme for my local football team, i learnt new stuff while doing so. it is fun.
I tend to use Libreoffice for posters though,
I am working on a template as I want to undertake some practical science in a school and need a way to combine instructions, risk assessment with other elements but also cite the safety sheets in references.
As long as I get all the right details in then a teacher can decide if we can do that activity, even if it is just growing salt crystals.
