@thor @amerika I know n some countries the far right is gaining ground, I am not full up on the geopolitical situation so not sure why, must be more than say immigration. European history is pretty complex.

@zleap @thor

democracy, diversity, and the entitlements state are failing

people no longer trust equality and mob rule

trump isn't even really far right; he's like reagan, a moderate right-winger

it's just that the world has gotten so far-left over the past thirty years that we can't tell the difference any longer

@amerika @thor

You have a good point there, I usually see far right as say Hitler and the Nazi party for example.

Equality is a joke, we don't have that even in the UK, but I guess it depends on how we define equality.

@zleap @thor

Hitler is hard to categorize because he's:

1. Basically the same political system we have now
2. Plus dangerously unhinged totalitarianism

The old death metal band Comecon referred to WW2 as a "Teutonic tantrum" and this seems, to me, mostly right.

Really far-Right would be Evola, Plato, Schopenhauer, in my view, in that they are close to being full realists and have the least amount of humanism.

@zleap @thor

Similarly the fascists were a hybrid system. All of these Nazi and Fascist guys are still trying to work within the French Revolution model of government, including executions, but that will never truly lean Right because it is Leftist in nature.
