Why is no one calling the media out for not presenting the FACTS of the case. ?
Does the US have a media regulator like we have in the UK?

Just noticed that you have MAGA in your name, Having a media industry that speaks the truth based on evidence BUT still allows debate and expression of opposing views (with evidence to form arguments) will be a huge step in the right direction.
The UK could learn but seems where the US leads others follow, so it is time for the US to lead,.

Saying that there was a BBC article online about I think a black hole merger casing the biggest exp;losion since the big bang.
Problem is the big bang was inflation not an explosion as such.
So even the BBC can't get it fully right but to be fair they need to write for a science / non science audience, which is much harder.
Patronise those who understand the science or baffle those who don't (and those who don't may have expertise in other areas of science).
@zleap @Sydneykaye01 @Bleukitty That right there is the beauty of sm. People are now able to bypass the narrative and hear all sides of an argument. I saw some amazing "regular people", "experts" in their fields add to the covid convo. Just give me the facts- I will assess my own PERSONAL risk and make my own decisions. The powers that be do not like not being able to control us. For all of its ills, sm has given regular people a voice.
And they get ridiculed on the daily on social media.

@zleap I agree- I can't WAIT for Truth Social. I'd love to leave the rest in the dust- and I probably will except for Free Atlantis and Truth. I'll delete the rest- although I may keep fakebook- I hate it but I still have family on there. Plus, I do use it for opportunities to red-pill people. 😁

If you want to read up on science just look at journals, etc, and support open access to research so more people can read up directly from the research and not a interpretation of it,
@zleap @Sydneykaye01 @Bleukitty You're right, Paul. We're gonna have to take a more active role in the info we take in and use in our decision making- watch the trial, watch the press conference, watch the results of actions taken, listen to independant news sources, develop better discernment...
IMO, the issue lies within the 'reading' of it. Most are intimidated by medical research papers, i.e. terminology used and it requires time. I have been reading such papers for decades and I still have to look up some of the terminology. I'll add I typically go back and re-read them, just to assure myself I understood the material.

Yeah it is not easy, I like websites such as scienceforums,net, if you read something and ask a question as to your understanding and post a link to a paper, people will generally help you.
Say something like Am I right in thinking X
I did that a while back when asking about endo vs exo thermic reactions so I could check I understood what I was reading properly.

Our media is the least trusted media in the world. They ARE suffering the consequences for it. They collapse a little more with every Kyle Rittenhouse and Nicholas Sandmann.
