I learned from Jovan on fakebook that AG Brnovich has 6 mos to investigate the fraud in AZ. That takes us to March 2022. Jovan was yelling at people and their doomsdaying because they can't seem to get it in their heads that "these things take time". Bill Barr(I think) "No one knows how anything works." TW 😁
@pamby1 We live in a world where people want / expect instant results, instant updates to the news etc. So having to wait a few months is a concept that is alien.
Saying that once the james Webb telescope has launched it is going to take about six months to set up, systems checks, temp etc, at least according to one of the lectures.
One of the reasons I am concerned all the news hype is going to be huge, then very little data for six months.
But in science stuff takes a long time anyway.
@zleap yes, some may expect instant results, but at this rate the Democrats will steal two more elections and Biden will have expired of old age by the time anyone pays for the 2020 fraud - which has been proven 20 times over. Hell, they stole elections in 2021 in the same state that we have video evidence showing them steal the general.
Meanwhile, people spin endless yarns of hopeporn online, pols like Wendy Rogers grift away and America and the world continue to go to Hell.
@pamby1
Is the US better off under the republicans, it seems, as with the UK neither party actually make any long term improvements to a country.
Didn't trump promise to build rebuilt roads. bridges etc. Or did he do that, just didn't make the news over here in the UK.
@zleap the way our government is structured, doing things like rebuilding roads isn't really the president's responsibility. When that office takes it upon itself to do a bunch of big national projects, they tend to spend a massive amount of money and do an atrocious job. In fact, they usually don't do the thing they say they're taking the money for at all, but line their own pockets.
Trump made our lives better in large part because he got the government out of the way. @pamby1
@waronmorons @pamby1 I seem to remember him saying about taking control away from federal and giving it to states to control.
Will be interesting to see what happens with this trillion dollar thing the democrats have now got.
@zleap and according to our Constitution, the federal government shouldn't have anywhere near the power it does today. What it has the authority to do is very explicitly limited, with the rest left to the state governments or the citizens themselves.
Thing have really gotten out of control over the past century or so. @pamby1
@waronmorons @pamby1 SO how does that happen, unless you fail to teach about the constitution properly and fail to teach science in terms of questioning what is going on;
@zleap Government getting involved in education was disastrous for us. The reason big govt's so inefficient and wasteful isn't necessarily that they're incompetent, it's that they're corrupt and that they use what power they have to grow themselves. So several generations have been miseducated about civics and history.
But it started before that. The federal govt grew itself and its power piece-by-piece, and like The Blob, the bigger it gets the more difficult it is to defeat. @pamby1
@waronmorons @zleap Exactly. But crappy, public education was a HUGE factor of where we are now, imo.
@pamby1 @waronmorons
A modern system needs to prepare for the modern world not working in factories or down mines etc.
Sure those jobs exist factories are more computerised people need technical as well as practical skills.
@zleap you don't exactly get a good technical education from the govt schools these days (or a lot of the privately-owned ones). They're too busy shoving a bunch of Cultural Marxist nonsense into kids' heads - sex education where they expose prepubescent children to porn, homosexuality and transgenderism, history class where they teach them lies that Western civilization's evil and oppressive, false scientism about global warming eschatology, math where "numbers are racist"... @pamby1
Yes good point, science needs to be taught but properly based on science data, teach kids to read / comprehend then look at actual papers on the climate , maths interpret actual data form real conclusions and talk / discuss with others to see their view etc
I have said this before global warming aside we will be far better if we didn't drive cars that pump obnoxious gases n to the atmosphere CO co_2 NO_x SOx are all bad for us, not to mention things like benzene (carcinogen)
Better transportation = less need for cars anyway.
100 years ago we didn't know how much we were damaging our ecosystems. We just took what we wanted, 20th Century saw two world wars, countless nuclear bomb tests and massive expansion on the use of oil for example.
It was only when we started to send the right satellites in to space we started to see the damage we were causing.
