The flaw is that their stealing analogy does not work for movies or media as you are not taking a physical object. which they are doing in the film.
When you copy a movie you are making a copy original is still in the same place.
So not theft in the same way,.
There is nothing physical about the 0's and 1's unless you look at an atomic / subatomic level and consider electrons.

Well yeaj, I don't agree with piracy. I do feel there should be fair usage, e.g buy a cd, rip cd and listen to on a music mp3 / ogg player for example.
I also think that the people who make the music should get a far far better deal.
@zleap @CKsTechnologyNews mostly an understanding has to be made that people need money to make stuff. there is this kind of consumerist thing where you want to acquire the most you can for the least amount possible and this is also true of the workers having to blackmail their bosses to get paid at all in the first place.
problem is the people who buy all these policies are the super-winners. it doesn't really reflect how society thinks about artists and it doesn't even really serve artists all that well.
