I'll say again what people need to hear, in my view:
The problem with the Fedi is that it's too passive. There is minimal response to good content mainly because there's so much varied content that nothing steps out.
Say what you will about Gab, Grindr/Gettr, Facebook, Reddit, and Twitter, but they PICK WINNERS. That is, when something stands out, it get sa huge promotional boost.
That's why the moves and shakers are there not here.
@zleap if there were just a handful of popular people on here, the problem would solve itself, but fedi managed to chase even Wil Wheaton away, and he’s mostly famous among nerds, not the general public.
