A very long train making its way through the Sierra. This trail crosses over the tracks in the middle of nowhere; fortunately, by the time this train reached the crossing I was already past. Didn't have time to wait for a slow-moving 3 km train to go by! :)

I am sure some of these trains stop for traffic going over the crossing.
@zleap@qoto.org Nah, there's only the occasional hiker and they'd have trouble starting up-hill at this elevation -- but on the bright side, it's fun to see them go by 🙂
