@thor haha :) yeah, probably. i still have an old valve radio here which works nicely. it for sure has a certain special sound, but i'm not sure if it is due to the valve or due to old circuitry in general :)

Probably the old circuity which ages and changes due to it's environment so the sound ends up pretty unique i guess.
