@zleap it was released in 1979. Today it could soon be a case of "GPT killed the internet star.."
Ironically broadcast radio is still alive, but increasingly automated and dependent on volunteers (so a lot of the "star" culture did get killed off - I was at my friends house last night (he is a presenter on a local radio station) and he showed me all the voicetracking and playout software, and how he uses that to juggle presenting a voicetracked show with working remote for a callcentre!
