Lets hope they win, get the policy stopped, it will then have to be rolled out state and country wide as a lawsuit, unless one lawsuit can bring about nationwide change.

The more info you collect and store, the more of a target it is for criminals and bad actors. But you're right, why do they need to collect this?
@zleap @SrRochardBunson remember when trump was fighting to keep his tax returns private and even though the constitution specifically said congress could access them by request, judges ruled against it bc they said the motives were political.
I hope the same scrutiny applies here where Desantis shouldn’t have access bc his motives were political
@zleap @SrRochardBunson most legal changes come from a lawsuit. There’s a lot of leeway in hippa rules for sharing information. The general premise I understood was that some people & orgs could have direct access while others needed your permission, but everyone still could only access it for necessary reasons. There is no legitimate reason for Desantis to have that knowledge.
