I read stories about how people were treated during the Holocaust thanks to @auschwitzmuseum and watching documentaries but these stories are almost on par with that, horrific,

yes we need to be careful as to making comparisons, This is where Gary Lineker got in trouble, BUT he does have a point, or the language prompts discussion.
History is starting to repeat, if you consider book banning and how trans people are treated in some states, some of trumps language is very hostile towards trans groups.
@zleap @auschwitzmuseum yep. It's been pretty obvious for, oh, about 7 years now but I still have no idea what to do to stop it
@zleap @auschwitzmuseum Oh, much less. This place was a nightmare into the 70s and 80s. And while nothing is really comparable to the Holocaust, the fact that they did medical experiments on a captive population certainly here does have some unfortunate overlap.
