I agree with 'stop the boats' in so far as it is a dangerous crossing, boats are facilitated by criminal gangs cashing in on the lack of proper alternatives, create routes that are safe, and you should put the gangs out of business.
We can't have people freezing to death in the back of refrigerated lorries or dying in other vehicles either.
I don't buy the millions will come if we open up these routes, that is just our home secretary scare mongering.
