Twitter has now suspended my API access (that I've had since 2007) for the Astronomy Picture Of The Day account. They want me to create a new account to get access again. As I've just gone away on holiday without my computer, that isn't going to happen right now. Nothing like being given no time to migrate. 🤷♂️
You are more than welcome here on fedi, if you decide to tell Twitter where to go, don't feel guilty about abandoning your followers, I am sure many will understand and I would also hope many of them are aware of what is going on. Hopefully they will realise you are here and find a way to follow you on fedi.
If you decide to switch over more formally I am sure people here can help promote this has happened.

@zleap I'm already here and someone else already maintains @APoD so there's no need for me to replicate their efforts. I was only complaining about the manner the API termination was done, not asking for advice on what do do. I'm explaining that there is nothing I can do given I'm on holiday.
