If Trump went over to Russia, it could be very bad for the US, he knows too much about stuff so he would be real asset to Russia, China and his buddy in North Korea.
As a disclaimer to myself : I am in no way advocating this should happen, but if he is a danger to national securitry, I am sure the CIA etc are capable of doing the honours and I am sure there are 'plans' to ensure he is kept silent one way or another.
It is NOT just US security and safety at stake here, the whole of the west, esp NATO could be at risk.
