I agree on the video / blog post. I have made videos on peertube to complement blog posts. Explain how to do something on my blog, but then also include a short video to illustrate the same thing.
I think doing that can help meet the needs of different users.

A short video can also replace lots of text and screenshots, captions etc. Even if it is simple, no sound just visuals.
