Some experts warn AI is likely to kill off jobs & widen wealth inequality. Others affirm that AI could produce jobs & new sources of wealth. Others claim that the effects will depend on the decisions we make as a society. In your opinion, what would be the most probable outcome?

Maybe this is already starting

BT to cut 55,000 jobs with up to a fifth replaced by AI

If paying customers have a problem, they want it Fixed.

If BT replace people with AI, these expectations won't change, so any AI had better be able to help people, and not send them round in endless circles.

What is also interesting but does need verification is an advert in the newspaper from sky saing they are bottom for complaints, as in they get less than their rivals, it looks like BT are near the top.

I wonder if there is a link between this and the cuts are a deliberate attempt to stop people complaining.
