Good grief, this is an elementary school, what sort of country is the USA ??? in the Uk this sort of thing would not be acceptable. We need to stop using children as pawns in our hatred, they end up stuck in the middle and are probably going to be traumatised by this. Or as I am from the UK this would probably constitute psychological and emotional abuse of young children, totally laborant behaviour from the so called adults.

A few phonecalls to social services would hopefully result in investigations, could result in some kids being taken in to care. This would be harsh but the parents may on reflection realise they have made a mistake, and also look to take action against those who perhaps encouraged that action and hold them partly responsible.
@zleap I use to be a mandated reporter and was really concerned that in most cases the report would do more harm than good. Child protective services have real issues so I would only call on them in the most egregious and obvious cases of abuse.
@zleap That is exactly how it struck me. What kind of parents would stage a hate gay people rally and purposefully do it in front of children? It is beyond my understanding.
