Dawlish Sea Defences
A few years ago, a big storm washed away the foundations of the train tracks, these were shored up but since then a lot of work has taken place to rebuild and also ensure good sea defences for the future, the track here is a main arterial route for the South West.
yes, they have done a really good job with this and something similar is also planned for Paignton Seafront, as that is at risk of flooding due to sea level rises too.
