What's kind of mind blowing to me as a blind trans woman that uses screen readers is the amount of trans memes, web comics or whatever they are I've been able to read over the last few months, simply because the cultural norm on here is that people add image descriptions.
Before on Twitter and Facebook there were the odd one with a description. But the rest, to me you were all either getting excited over someone posting the word "image" on Twitter., or easily deciphering cryptic phrases like "may be an image of 1 person, shorts and text" on Facebook.
What experience do people have with the OCR feature on here. This is meant to scan an image and exact the text element to help with alt text.
Is there a specific file type this works with? I still can't get it to work.
