@elCelio @vmatinnia @zleap @w7voa If Palestine is a member of the ICC, then victims of Hamas’ attacks can bring war crime charges against them in the ICC, right? Purposely placing offensive weapons in the middle of a civilian population also a war crime? Also, preventing a civilian population from leaving a combat zone. Then there’s the elimination of their (Palestinian) opposition within Gaza via kneecapping and defenestration.

not really. individuals can't petition the Court.
investigation may be requested by a State, or the UN Security Council, or the Prosecutor of the Court.
anyway there's already an investigation going on in #Palestine on #Hamas, most probably the Prosecutor will add this events.
Of course it is difficult to do anything when the dominant power in the region (#Israel) is unwilling and does not cooperate.
