The latest time I felt like I 100% endorsed anything or anyone related to the area, it was >12 years ago, the "Gaza Youth Breaks Out" movement.
As I recall it the youth uprisings against both Hamas and Fatah, in spite of getting harsh response from both of those as well as from Israel's armed forces, did force Fatah and Hamas to swear to at least hold elections. Then when protests settled they broke the promises and crushed the GazaYBO-movement, because their thirst for power is immensely stronger than their honor and/or care for the Palestinian people.

I did everything I could to support them at the time.
I will again, next time too.
