The problem with these defeats is they are going to be less likely to call a GE before they really need to, as they know full well they face total wipeout at the polls.
They may as well call a GE as early as possible in 2024, conceed the inevitable defeat and then start to rebuild.
In the meantime Labour need 10 years to fix the mess we are in.
