Yes I worked out to get to an interview in Plymouth it would take 1 1/2 hours to get to Plymouth by train then an additional 1 1/2 hours to walk to the place where the interview would take place.
Employer ghosted me, so a red flag for a start. But it is standard practice for employment agencies to treat people like 2nd class citizens.
I managed it for about 9 months before inevitably moving closer to Plymouth. Mostly bus to Totnes, then train onward from there, hence familiarity with the location pictured.
