From what I can tell Netenyahu has managed to cling on to power despite attempts through elections to remove him.
@zleap @GhostOnTheHalfShell @Miriamm they had five elections in three years. they cannot agree on sht, and they have a criminal for a president, again.
@rustoleumlove @GhostOnTheHalfShell @Miriamm
The UK has has a few PMs in as many years too.
@zleap @GhostOnTheHalfShell @Miriamm at least Rishi Sunak is not currrently in the midst of a criminal trial.
and i say this from the US - where one leader of a 2 party system is obv ALSO embroiled in a number of criminal trials, and basically tried to overthrow the government a few years back.
it's not a good time for the world's so-called 'democracies'
@rustoleumlove @GhostOnTheHalfShell @Miriamm
It does make one wonder if a dictatorship would be much easer
@zleap @GhostOnTheHalfShell @Miriamm one of my favorite quotes of all time - one i know many people know ----
“The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter.”
― Winston S. Churchill
also, having been to modern China, things seemed pretty good there, for most people. i'm not clueless, i lnow what goes on in parts of that country. but their tranist & rail systems are pretty amazing. ha ha.
