Having listened to friends' endless stories about delayed trains, truncated journeys, overcrowded carriages & a general dismal service on the West Coat Line... I now would never consider using the train for any journey (and as such have given up even thinking of going down to #London).
If I wasn't;t retired & having to travel for #work, then I would defiantly be favouring my car (again).
If we are ever going to achieve a #greentransition then the chaos on the #railways has to be resolved!
Are you in the UK or USA (as domain suggests) as we have similar tails of woe regarding trains here in the United Kingdom.
Actually I'm in the UK, using a US instance as I like their protocols & practices..... so yes, the focus is on the UK experience
Ah that makes sense, No experience of the US train system but the Via trans Canada is excellent.
