A judge has ruled that Twitter owes its current and former employees tens of millions of dollars that it promised people who didn’t quit within the first few months of Elon’s acquisition which it then refused to pay.

Twitter’s lawyers tried to argue these were only verbal promises which the judge rules still count. Imagine if your boss could promise you a raise or bonus then walk it back later because it wasn’t in writing.
