Last year I spent many hours to "play" GPT-3 using AI Dungeon. You write the start of your story, GPT-3 can complete an entire chapter on its own without any human input, one only needs to click "retry" and "revert" to guide the story on the right direction.
Some stories written by GPT-3 are really mindbogglingly good, some are extremely funny too due to its inability to understand things. My favorite is a cyberpunk story. This is the funniest part written by GPT-3:
After my computer was compromised by a mysterious group known as "W", the solution was filling my basement with fiberglass dust and create a magic triangle with three isolated computers with a rabbit, finally, place an electronics breadboard with an EEPROM at its center to complete this ritual.
I didn't write anything, it's all auto-generated.
@niconiconi funny. it kinda just forgets about the whole "you built a language model" place it started at. one of the most fascinating things about GPT-3 is it's captured the sort-of narrative transition of writing, but it's products always seem to lack a central point or message
