Apparently, on some other servers (e.g., @stux 's mstdn.social, using 4.0.2), you *can* see boosts in lists, even if you're not following the person being boosted.
Specifically: @htdrake and I follow each other and have each other in lists. If I boost something from user C (whom she does not follow), she sees it in her list including me. If she boosts something from D (whom I do not follow), I do NOT see the boost in my list including her. I would like to.
What are the odds of updating this on #qoto?

Two hours of take-offs and landings at San Francisco Airport, 8 to 10pm on a Friday night.
It was bitter cold. And this was perhaps the longest time ever I spent taking pictures in one spot, talking to myself and cursing throughout most of the evening.
FYI, this is a merge of 20-25 photos, each about 60 seconds long. Towards the end of the shoot, the fog started rolling in.

not really into new year's resolutions but this autumn i learned to knit and it amazed me how quickly the idea of buying commercial knit goods became unthinkable. next year i want to see how many other crafts i can make that happen for

so, that's a completely different thing that I guess you have some issues with.
I was just suggesting that the stance Meitner took on nuclear weapons isn't uniquely feminine, and it's not helpful to propagate a stereotype of men as feudal or fixated on violent solutions.

Fission is in the news, but few recognize that a woman physicist was behind the discovery.
Lise Meitner’s brilliance led to the discovery of nuclear fission. But her long time collaborator Otto Hahn, was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry w/o her in 1944, even though she had given the first theoretical explanation.
