Is the norm to write hashtags in lower case, please, regardless of proper nouns?

I seen a post earlier. visually disabled or something. looks like the norm is to capitalize each word for multiple words.
i.e. PoetryCommunity
it doesn't appear that there is a similar thing for single word hashtags. i have seen both
