Good Morning Everyone!

... it's been quite a while since the last time I did this, so here we go:

today's shot was taken back in 2009 at the "Classic Computing '09" in Hachenburg, Germany and what we can see here is the legendary #Atari Stacy2, an #AtariST portable.

The Atari Stacy2 came in two configurations: 2MB RAM, one 3.5" "floppy" disk drive and a 20MB hard disk, or with 2MB RAM and two 3.5" disk drives.

The operating system in ROM was TOS 1.4. The Stacy2 also featured a neat trackball on the lower left side of the keyboard.

Originally intended to be powered on normal batteries, it soon showed that those wouldn't last long enough to do anything useful with the machine. So the it eventually became a portable, meaning that it still required an external AC power source.

@AndresPlazaR seems to be in perfect shape! very nice collection you have there!

@Wintermute_BBS Thanks! The backlight of the screen was broken, and I was fortunate to find a replacement. You can check here on how I disassembled it: vintagecomputers.code.blog/
