I don't know what miy.pw does, but its non-response is currently slowing down QOTO web updates.

@AndrewG That theme got a ticker that uses miy.pw and it seems down. Best option to combat slowness right now is to change theme to any other theme that doesn't include those tickers.
For example, I use Mastodon Default (Dark) theme. I don't experience slowdowns.
