Here is a 2-seater bench I built for a local public school per superintendent's request. He told me they are going to call it a "Friendship Bench". School provided the lumber (white oak) and I put in the labor in my humble garage. Pictures are before final finish is applied.

Clear marine grade varnish, in case the bench is put outside the school. BTW, I never apply stain to cover natural beauty of the wood grain. Stain is sacrilegious.
