It’s been a week. I injured my back and can’t carry water or stoop to weed. I’ve been watching plants in pots wilt and weeds take over.

Then my daughter’s girlfriend the landscaper appeared in the rain and worked all afternoon to sort things out. She picked the tomatoes, weeded and pruned, and I hobbled about watching everything get better.
