Honestly, I thought when people realized that cats and dogs could simply get COVID that they'd start taking it much more seriously, but, I misjudged humankind yet again. I've avoided weighing in on this because whether it's specifically *acute* COVID or not probably doesn't matter. If the dogs test negative everyone's just going to go "Wasn't COVID" and move on. But the real point is, if the mice all died after a certain number of infections, what makes people think their dogs won't?
