In #JapaneseFolklore 'The Boy Who Drew Cats' is a tale about a boy who was compelled to draw #cats everywhere. He initially got into trouble but his hobby paid off because one day the cats he drew came to life and saved him from a giant rat goblin. This story speaks of the compulsive nature of creating, the benefits of practicing & perfecting your craft, and ultimately letting your art save you. When two galaxies encounter each other, it takes 1-2 billion years for them to merge and settle down. While the stars already in the galaxies don’t change much, the collision can spark lots of new stars to form! ✨ #MondayMotivation

J'ai mis au point un implant d'adaptation du langage à la volée. Ça s'appelle un nuancier. Vous parlez et, le temps que le son arrive aux oreilles de vos interlocuteurs, votre discours se transforme pour devenir plus convenable, plus agréable.

Me in class: “Looks like no one managed to finish the reading, that’s on me, clearly I assigned too much today. Let’s discuss [X] instead.”

Students: 😮🤯🥹

It’s really powerful for students when the role model at the front of the classroom takes responsibility & shows imperfection. The more I #Teach the more I realize showing weakness teaches humaneness & combats impostor syndrome, & is one of the things my students most often say they loved when a course is over. #teaching #academidon #histadon
