cell-cultivated meat is grown from animal cells in a bioreactor, rather than harvested from slaughtered animals - which is a potential path towards the meat that many humans like to eat, without the environmental and ethical concerns techcrunch.com/2023/06/21/new-

@darkuncle

What if it's an endangered species? Or (insert your culture's taboo meats)?

Is pork made that way kosher? I mean - no cloven hoof. If you're catholic can you eat it on fridays?

What if you used human cells? Is it cannibalism? Is it ethical? What if you use your own cells?

I suspect there are still ethical concerns floating around in there somewhere.

@Biggles definitely, but the ethical concerns around slaughtering animals aren't among them.
