When I first signed up at mastodon I had no idea what the different instances were, how I would choose one over another or what difference any of it made. When you signed up, which is closest to your experience of choosing a server/instance to use?
For me, the only reason I was on Twitter was #MedTwitter. So I googled "Med Mastodon" and found my server/people/instance 😀 #MedMastodon
@elliottrichards @joshtpm It's super cool when stuff just works out like that! Welcome! I couldn't decide between an academic or medical server so I went with just following the hashtag. 🙌
