Actually most cable networks use it these days, but Chris has a way of crowing the phrase. Actually, I can't stand his crowing intro when he starts his program either.
It seems to me that the phrase is in all these teleprompters but other hosts have managed to modify it on the fly, like "and he joins me from Ankara" or whatever location....but it's always "and he joins me". The damn thing must be a verbal contagion, just like Joy Reid's TSK problem...which I used to call the Judy Woodruff Disease when she was on CNN.
