What I miss most in many theories about the "value of data" is a clear statement on who creates that value. This is extremely relevant because this "who" is also the revolutionary subject. Who is the digital proletariat in the data economy? Who has to go on strike to challenge the economic power of e.g. tracking companies or social networks?
