Senator Ron Wyden described the abuses as "shocking," and the Center for Democracy and Technology called for a "full overhaul" before Section 702's expiration. The FBI implemented new training and technology to reduce searches on US persons. However, the FISA Court expressed concerns about the FBI's compliance issues.
