This is from the New York Times. A batch of about 27,000 votes (going from 91% of the vote to 93%) changed Laxalt's 9,000 vote lead to an 800 vote lead.

Looks like the Democrats keep the Senate even without Georgia.

And the Republican lead in the House is narrowing. Imagine the Republicans governing with a razor thin majority. They couldn't repeal Obamacare when they had a trifecta.

What they didn’t realize was that unlike them, most sane people would actually just leave the site and go somewhere else. They miscalculated the importance of the bird site to the left. “Citizen journalists” indeed. What is more “citizen journalist” than decentralized platforms? By definition the bird site can never be a source of open, accurate information. And in fact, will become a major source of disinformation.

In just the last 50 years, TWO-THIRDS (‼️) of the world's wild animals have been wiped out.

Another thing I love about Mastodon - you get notifications when soneone's edited a tweet that you've liked or boosted.

This is REALLY important as it allows the chance to remove a boost or a like if the change is not acceptable.
