So. How do we build an effective grassroots network, based on truth, that rivals the one GOP built on lies and fear-mongering?
My wife volunteered as a poll worker, and I volunteered as a person who would bring her coffee, and on her break we chatted with the school principal, and she pointed out how bad it was that when Massachusetts created standardized testing, they left out social science requirements.
Social Science means Civics and history.
If MA did that, it must be worse elsewhere.

@thomasafine Growing up in GA, we had a a required HS class in "mass media" that was actually quite good (although as students we complained at the time!). I'm guessing it doesn't exist anymore. (This was almost 40 years ago.)
