Do you understand why so many American Twitter users were bothered by Elon Musk's behavior with Twitter, or does it seem like some arcane American political drama? Corollary: were Twitter users from outside the USA disturbed by his behavior?

I understand why people are going crazy and also thought that they're overstating the scale of events.
But also I was glad that Fediverse gained some audience because of that.
